When I was sitting in Studio 8h tonight, after we had thankfully gotten into dress (after waiting a chilly but fun 19 hours waiting for standby tickets, I almost got weirdly emotional. Like, I don’t know why, but it happened.

It was after Suds just gave his speech (“if there’s a fire-scratch that WHEN there’s a fire- those same doors you came in through, will magically turn into exits. Run like hell to get out. And on your way out, grab something, anything. This place is like a god damn museum! Kristen Wiig, she’s super light.” that was totally not verbatim so i’m sorry but I can never remember) and music was playing and everyone was trying to set up as fast as possible for the cold open, I was just thinking about how fucking much I love SNL and Studio 8h and 30 Rock and how great the building is and the cast. That fucking cast that just makes me so happy every FUCKING week. I was just like, how fortunate am I to have been to 5 (yes, 5 tonight!) tapings of the greatest show on earth? To have Taran, the greatest fucking man ever, remember my name ‘cause I see him every week? To have a show like SNL bring together people from the internet (Erika and Kamden I’m talking to you!) because we’re all waiting for the same thing. And for the chance to meet so many talented and amazing people every week. Plus, to see the greatest fucking show in history created by the most perfect, amazing everything man in the whole world. I literally just love looking at Lorne at the beginning of the show and see him walking around, nodding his head to questions and making sure everything is going well. It makes me so happy.

So here I am, a loser who almost got emotional in Studio 8h while I was waiting for the dress rehearsal to start. 

Anyways, I am an idiot and because I’m always so caught up in the moment, I can’t always remember cut scenes. I usually can after I watch the live show and realize what wasn’t in, but I am exhausted and I have tons to do tomorrow, then I’m going to UCB. I met some pretty cool people today (Cee lo Green [so random] Travie McCoy, and Jack Mcbrayer again [KING]) so I’ll do a photset. Thanks for reading this dumb post (if you did, that is).

OH! also, if anyone ever wants to do standby or wants to know about it or is just curious what the fuck goes on during commercials (even though it’s pretty obvious, but I was always curious) let me know! I love for people to know more about it. Okay, /long dumb ridiculous post.
