Will Forte and Lorne Michaels!

With Lorne Michaels!!!

Literally the best moment of my life.

Oh my gosh your valid opinion makes a lot of sense!

I’m not gonna knock someone for not liking a show. Sure, there are shows I don’t like. Not shows that have been on for 37 years, usually ones that are shitty, but still. I am never going to say someone is wrong for having a particular feeling. That being said, this pisses me the FUCK off.

  1. Bill Hader is fucking hilarious, so I don’t know what you’re talking about, “Michael S.”
  2. SNL does NOT need to clear it’s current roster, because I can say with the utmost truth, every single person on that team is talented for one thing or another. Jay can do impressions like no one, and Kristen can play ANY role. Those things may not be true for each other, but everyone has so much talent it’s unbearable.
  3. HE CAN’T KILL HIS OWN SHOW, HE FUCKING MADE IT. IT’S CALLED MAKING DECISIONS. You are telling me the god damn SMARTEST man in TV is making the wrong choices? Sure, they’re not what you want, but still. Go fucking watch your fucking Pawn Stars or whatever dumb shit, and don’t say that my fucking hero is killing his own god damn show.

what a perfect group of people.

Jimmy Fallon & Lorne Michaels attend the New York Yankees vs. Detroit Tigers ALDS baseball game.

“At the Oct. 7th show, I observed Lorne Michaels walking around between sketches, talking to people. When I asked him about it, he said that he was keeping an eye on timing and pacing, and that usually there’s a person in the cast who is “a metronome” and keeps things ticking; he said Dan Aykroyd, Phil Hartman and Chris Parnell had each fulfilled that role, instinctively adjusting the pace as needed, but that that person hadn’t yet emerged in the current cast.” -(Village Voice, 2006)

Bill Hader and Lorne Michaels. October 1st, 2011. I think you found the metronome, Lorne.
